That’s pretty cool but I have doubts of the net benefit. Yeah it will save emissions directly and by setting a postivie example to some, but what about the recently exposed portion of the population that’s resentful?
There will literally be tens of millions of people with dissenting or fringe far right views who see something like this, and think “WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY PULLING NOW? WE NEED TO SHOW THEM WE DISAGREE BY DOING THE OPPOSITE!”, so they go out and remove their catalytic converter and muffler and/or buy a gas guzzler. Just my thoughts, I do applaud the move and hope it works though
